As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our recruitment and onboarding processes are streamlined and effective. You will assist the HR Department in key areas such as employee recruitment, policy implementation, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Assist with all agency recruitment efforts.  Duties may include completing job posts, attending job fairs, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for all new employees and ensure all necessary documents and tests are completed in a timely manner. Duties may include completing new hire paperwork, assembling personnel files, and entering information into the HRIS system.
  • Documentation: Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Duties may include bill reconciliation, DCFS reporting, and managing personnel files.
  • DCFS Licensing: Act as a liaison between the agency and licensing representative. Duties may include submitting any required documentation, assisting during on-site file reviews, and overseeing DCFS clearance process for employees.
  • Other: Serve as a back-up for the Administrative Assistant when necessary. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and previous administrative experience required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, previous HR experience preferred, and previous recruitment experience preferred.

Skills: Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people.

Miscellaneous: Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
